The City of London is launching the Ontario Renovates program for 2024. Funded by the Federal and Provincial governments, this initiative provides financial assistance to low to moderate-income households, focusing on seniors aged 60 or older and individuals with disabilities. Administered by the City of London, the program extends support to homeowners and landlord/tenant rental units in London and Middlesex County.
Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early to secure an opportunity for financial assistance.
Financial assistance available for homeowners:
- a one-time forgivable loan up to $15,000 for home repairs
- a one-time grant up to $5,000 for home accessibility modifications
Financial assistance available for landlord/tenants:
- Up to $5,000 grant for approved rental unit accessibility modifications
