St. Thomas - County of Elgin

Elgin County consists of seven local municipalities that include the Town of Aylmer, the Municipality of Bayham, the Municipality of Central Elgin, the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich, the Township of Malahide, the Municipality of Southwold, and the Municipality of West Elgin. The City of St. Thomas is geographically located in Elgin County, but is a separate city. 

Within each of these townships, municipalities, and villages, there are several employment Service Providers who offer a wide range of programming and supports to help individuals on their employment journey.

LEADS Employment Services

Leads Employment Services is a not-for-profit employment and skills development agency.  Since 1986, LEADS has been providing specialized and customized services for people with disabilities and/or employment-related barriers throughout Southwestern Ontario.  At LEADS, Employment Specialists work with clients who need varying levels of assistance developing skills and accessing employment opportunities, and/or post-employment supports.  They also work with employers who have hiring needs, including screening, matching, and on-boarding, and who want to save money and resources in training and accommodation recommendations.
