If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of London before the proposed amendment is adopted or approved, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

MINOR VARIANCES

The Committee of Adjustment for the City of London will meet on Monday, December 16, 2019, commencing at 1:20 p.m., on the second floor of City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue, London, Ontario for the purpose of hearing the following applications for Minor Variance to Zoning By-law Z.-1.

2:00 p.m. – A.129/19 - 545 Fanshawe Park Road West, CON 5 PT LOT 20 REG COMP PLAN 1028 LOT 25 RP 33R2815 PARTS 1,2 & 3, on the north side of Fanshawe Park Road West, east of Wonderland Road North. To increase the total number of units per hectare. To permit 286 units per hectare, whereas 281 units per hectare is the maximum permitted.

2:10 p.m. – A-130/19 - 1738 Hamilton Road, PLAN 747 LOT 1 RP 33R18591 PART 1, on the north side of Hamilton Road, north of Old Victoria Road. To construct a single detached dwelling. To permit a minimum exterior side yard setback of 2.5m, whereas a minimum exterior side yard setback of 8.0m  is required.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION MEETINGS – NON-STATUTORY

This meeting is a non-statutory community information meeting.  A future statutory public participation meeting will be held at the Community and Protective Services Committee if Civic Administration recommends any by-law amendments. This will provide the public with an opportunity to comment any proposed by-law amendments.  Notification of public meetings are published in the Londoner.

Community Information for Short term accommodations

The City of London is holding a community meeting to gather feedback and share information on short-term accommodations, where reservations are made via internet platforms such as Airbnb, Kijiji etc. City of London staff will be available to answer questions and collect feedback at this meeting.

Infrastructure Renewal Project Dundas Street from Adelaide Street North to Ontario Street - Public Information Centre #2
The City of London would like to invite you to a drop-in style public information centre where you can learn more about the design and construction planning for the reconstruction of Dundas Street, from Adelaide Street North to Ontario Street. The construction is planned to be undertaken in 2020 and 2021.
