SPARKS! Neighbourhood Matching Fund

Over the last seven years, Londoners have initiated and created great changes in their neighbourhoods through the SPARKS! Neighbourhood Matching Fund.  Residents have engaged their neighbours to come together to create gathering spaces, host community activities, and beautify neighbourhoods through the 87 projects funded across the city.  In seven years, $350,000 has been allocated to these SPARKS! projects which have strengthened the fiber and relationships of our neighbourhoods, helping to make London a great place to live, work and play.

Due to the success of the SPARKS! Neighbourhood Matching Fund, this program is transforming into Neighbourhood Decision Making, which invites residents to create and implement ideas in their neighbourhoods with a total of $250,000 available across the whole city every year.  The key difference to this new program is that residents will decide which projects get funded in a community-wide vote open to all.  Visit the Neighbourhood Decision Making page for more details and to get involved!
