Join the City of London and ReForest London as we celebrate National Tree Day in the Forest City! On Wednesday, September 27th, we'll be hosting free tree giveaway events at three locations in the City of London.

We encourage you and your family to visit a tree pick-up location to get a free tree to plant on your property.

Help London Conquer the Million Tree Challenge

By working together, we can help the Million Tree Challenge meet its goal of planting a million trees in London, Ontario.

Evening Tree Pick-Up Location: 


Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre

4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.


Tree species available include:

Birch (River), Birch (White), Black Cherry, Bur Oak, Hackberry, Honey Locust, Red Maple, Silver Maple, Sugar Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, White Pine, Redbud, Serviceberry, Sweet Wild Crabapple, Tulip Tree, Witchhazel, Apple (Ambrosia), Apple, Apple (Kerr), Apple (McIntosh), Apple (Red Delicious), Apple (Redhaven), Pear (Flemish Beauty), Pear (Golden Spice).


  • Tree quantities are limited, and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
  • The trees are in 3-5 gallon pots, and a vehicle is recommended for pickup.
