Business Association Guide

Thriving small businesses are an important element of a strong neighbourhood.  Neighbourhood business districts provide residents many of the goods and services they need and are a place where neighbours can bump into each other and form the bonds of community.

The City of London supports the development of strong business associations in our neighbourhoods that work together to collectively promote the district, foster a sense of place, and improve the conditions that support business success.

The Business Association Guide is designed to support groups at all levels of organization from the very beginning to fully established groups.  It provides tools, tips and templates to make it easier for neighbouring businesses to organize and maintain an effective association.

The Business Association Guide is not intended for Business Improvement Areas (BIAs).  If you have questions about how to establish a BIA, click here.
