Dundas-Thames Valley Parkway Connection

About the Dundas-TVP Connection

The Dundas Thames Valley Parkway Active Transportation Connection (“Dundas-TVP Connection”) will improve the link for pedestrians and cyclists between the Thames Valley Parkway (TVP) and Downtown, and will create a connection for cyclists to the East-West Bikeway. Having an improved cycling connection will make it easier to reach existing transit routes, as well as planned rapid transit stops for this area.

The project has been extended west to include the intersection of Riverside and Wilson, to allow for a better transition into existing bike lanes on Riverside Drive.

Scope of Project:

  1. Detailed design including sanitary sewer investigation
  2. New streetscape, urban design elements and cycling improvements from the Thames Valley Parkway to Dundas Place.
