We're On The Road Together

In London, every mode matters.

The City of London strives to design complete streets that balance the needs of all road users and support the communities they are connected to. The "We're on the road together" campaign was designed to remind us all that we are building for our future; one that encompasses all modes of transportation, ages and abilities.

Stay tuned for upcoming educational campaigns, contests and initiatives being launched to help us all learn and adjust to the major infrastructure changes that are underway in our City.

  • Where can I get more information about this contest?

    View the full contest rules.

  • How will my data be used?

We won’t touch your personal information. The City of London and Downtown London will only be tracking the number of texts received for each transportation choice and trends related to the number of entries received per day.

  • How will you pick the winner?

The winner will be randomly selected on the morning of August 1, 2019. We will contact the winner using the cellphone number used to enter the contest.

  • What if my mode of transportation isn’t included in the list?

Options include “I Bike”, “I Ride”, “I Walk”, “I Cycle”, “I Roll”. If you skateboard or rollerblade, we recommend entering under the category, “I Roll”. If you run or jog to your destination, simply pick the most closely-related category (ie. “I Walk”).

  • If I go to multiple participating locations, can I enter multiple times?

The answer is yes. This contest offers additional chances to win, the more you explore downtown!

  • If I use multiple modes of transportation, can I enter multiple times?

The answer is yes. This contest offers additional chances to win if you’ve used more than one mode of transportation on any given day.

  • Why are you doing this?

The City strives to design streets that balance the needs of all road users and support the communities they are connected to. The contest was designed to learn about and recognize those traveling downtown while significant construction is underway.
