Snow Removal Reminders:

The City of London maintains roadways in accordance with the Provincial Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways (MMS), Regulation 239/02. This Provincial regulation under the Municipal Act specifies minimum maintenance standards for winter road conditions. These standards prioritize the City’s 3,625 kms of roadway and 720 cul-de-sacs based on speed and traffic volume.

Snow Removal Requests:

Please remember to give our team a minimum one day after the snowfall ends to clear the snow on local streets before submitting a snow removal request. It takes a minimum of 24 hours to clear local streets and sidewalks and an additional 48 hours for bus stops.

Londoners can get updates on snow removal by reaching out to our public service team at 519-661-4570 or by emailing them at es@london.ca. After 24 hours, you can report snow not plowed or slippery conditions on a road or sidewalk using our Service London portal.
