Communications

The Communications Division processes emergency fire and rescue calls for the City of London. The Division is staffed by 12 Communication Operators, an Electronics Technician who maintains all of the Department's radio equipment, and a Supervisor who oversees day to day operations. Communication Operators answer the Department's emergency fire telephone lines, including the line designated for calls from the hearing impaired (TTY). Communications dispatches and monitors movements, by radio frequency, of both emergency fire vehicles and non-emergency service vehicles in the City of London.

Non emergency lines are also in operation for the relaying of pertinent information such as: open burns, system repairs and fire drills being conducted in the City. If your call is not an emergency, please call 519-661-5615.
