Boulevard Tree Protection By-law
All trees located on City of London boulevards are protected from any activities which may cause damage to them or cause them to be removed. Tree planting on the boulevard is only allowed with permission from the City of London. A “boulevard” means that portion of every road allowance within the limits of the City of London which is not used as a sidewalk, driveway, travelled roadway or shoulder. Please check the Boulevard Tree Protection By-law to find out exactly what is prohibited with respect to City of London trees. Check the Tree inventory on the City Map to see if the tree you are looking at is on City property or not, only City trees are listed. Please call the Forestry Dispatcher if you are not sure if a tree is on City property.
