The City of London is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study for improvements to the Fanshawe Park Road/Richmond Street intersection. The City’s Smart Moves Transportation Master Plan (TMP) identified several improvements to the intersection, including additional through and turning lanes on Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street and pedestrian and cyclist friendly design features. Building on the TMP, a preferred design of the improvements will be recommended and developed in more detail as part of this Class EA study.

The study will evaluate all the options with respect to the road cross sections. Land uses, access opportunities and the property impacts will be a big factor in the evaluation of the options. The preferred design concept will be both functional and attractive in its appearance.

Public input is welcome throughout the study.  Two Public Information Centres will be held in  2015/2016 to present the preferred alternative.  A subsequent notice will include the date, time and location of the meeting.
