Road closure: Elizabeth Street from Dundas Street to Queens Avenue

Starting on Monday, April 1, Elizabeth Street will be closed between Dundas Street and Queens Avenue for construction of the Lyle Street and Elizabeth Street Infrastructure Renewal Project, until approximately fall 2024.

People driving through the area are advised to follow detour signs to reach their destination and use alternative routes, if possible while this work is underway.

As part of this project, intermittent lane reductions will also be required on Lyle Street between Dundas Street and King Street to complete surface paving and other finishing work.

Sidewalk restrictions and closures will be required during construction. People walking are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid these restrictions.

Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for the most up-to-date information during construction.

Access to businesses, residences and properties in the area will be maintained throughout this work.
