Bring your family and friends and enjoy skating at one of the City of London’s outdoor skating rinks this winter season.
Victoria Park Free Ice Skating
Free outdoor ice skating at Victoria Park opens for the winter season today, Friday, December 6, at 6:00 p.m. and will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Skate rentals and skate sharpening are available weekdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on weekends from noon until 10 p.m. Cost for rentals is $7.00 and skate sharpening is $6.00.
The ice rink is closed daily from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for ice resurfacing. The rink is open weather permitting, to check the status of the rink please call 519-661-4529.
Storybook Gardens Skate Trail
The Storybook Gardens outdoor winter skating trail opens for the winter season this Saturday, December 7 at 10 a.m. The 250 metre trail winds through the beautiful grounds of Storybook Gardens and offers a unique skating experience. Hot chocolate and fresh hot Beavertail pastries are also available at the rink-side Beavertails location.
The skating trail is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., weather permitting. Special holiday hours are in effect from December 21 to January 4, 2020.
Skating trail admission fees:
$13.00 for a family of four
$4.25 per adult
$3.25 per child
Children under 24 months are free
Skate rentals are available in child and adult sizes at $6.50 per pair.
Rotary Rink at Covent Garden Market
Free ice skating at the Rotary Rink at Covent Garden Market is scheduled to open Friday, December 13 (weather permitting). The skating rink will be open throughout the week during the following hours:
Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.*
Saturday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
*During London Knights games and special events at Budweiser Gardens the rink will be open until 7:30 p.m.
