The City of London’s Municipal Elections kick off this Thursday with the first day of Advance Polls. Advance Polls take place October 4, 6 and 9 - 13, and are an opportunity for any eligible London resident to vote at the polling location of their choice.
To vote at an Advance Poll, the only thing voters need to bring is identification. It is not necessary to bring a Voter Notification Card, but it will make the process faster.
Accessible Voting Machines will be available at all Advance Poll locations, to assist anyone who experience difficulties marking the ballot by hand.
New for this election, London will be the first municipality to use Ranked Choice Voting to elect our next Mayor and City Council. Voters now have the option to rank a first choice, second choice, and third choice when casting their ballot. The election of School Board Trustees will not be a Ranked Choice vote.
