Public Service Announcement
City of London
December 21, 2018
Dundas Place, from Ridout St. to Richmond St., is now open to east/west motorists and cyclists. All construction fencing has been taken down and hard surfaces have been restored along pedestrian pathways.
This marks the completion of the 2018 construction season for the two-phase Dundas Place flexible street project.
How it works:
- Allows for two-way travel for cyclists and motorists within the shared zone (roadway) whenever blocks are not closed for an event
- Allows for continuous pedestrian travel in the pedestrian zone (sidewalks) at all times
- Signed pedestrian crosswalks at each intersection and mid-block at Fanshawe
- Designated parking on every block, identified by signage and bollards that are set back
Please drive, walk and cycle with caution as Londoners adjust to the new flexible street format. Read the Dundas Place backgrounder to learn more.
