Is Someone Hurting You?

You should never feel alone. People shouldn’t hurt you either physically or emotionally, whether its family or friends. Everyone should be able to talk about their feelings to someone. If you need someone to talk about, the following links will help:

Help Lines

Kid’s Help Phone
Find help immediately by phone or online. Remember, it’s completely anonymous and confidential. Call 1-800-668-6868.

Crisis Intake Team
24/7 crisis intervention for youth up to the age of 18. Call 519 433-0334.

Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans Youth line
A toll-free Ontario-wide peer-support phone line for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, 2-spirited, queer and questioning youth. Call 1-800-268-9688.

London Abused Women’s Centre
Offering abused young women hope and support. The safety of abused women is the Centre's first concern. Call 519 432-2204.

London Police
For emergencies, call 911. For general inquiries, call 519 661-5670.

Regional Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre
If you have been assaulted, you have options here for care and treatment. Located at St. Joseph’s hospital. Call 519 646-6100, ext "0", and ask to speak to the nurse on call for sexual assault/domestic violence.

Sexual Assault Centre London
Provides supportive services to women 16 years of age and older who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives. Call 519 438-2272.

Rotholme
Find 24 hour emergency admission if you are homeless, need temporary emergency accommodation or are in a crisis. Single women 16 and over and families.  Call 519 673-4114.

Women's Community House
Offering a 24 hour help line to those experiencing abuse.  Call 519 642-3003.
