Fanshawe Park Road East and Highbury Avenue Intersection Widening 

The City Of London hand delivered the following letter to area homeowners, tenants and/or businesses on October 31, 2011

To Property Owner

Dear Sir/Madam:

Delcan Corporation has been retained by the City of London to complete the detail design and construction contract preparation for the widening of the Fanshawe Park Road East and Highbury Avenue intersection. Construction is planned to commence in the Spring of 2012 with completion in the Fall of 2012. This work is based on a Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment Study that was undertaken in 2008-2009

Members of the public are cordially invited to attend a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the above referenced project. The purpose of the PIC is to present the final design for the road widening and to provide information regarding construction related issues and scheduling.

Once construction begins, every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences. Traffic will be maintained through the intersection however delays can be expected. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

The PIC will be held in an open house, drop-in format and will be held between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th, at the Siloam United Church, 1240 Fanshawe Park Road in London.
