Public Service Announcement: Drowning Prevention Week – July
21 – 29, 2012
The City of London supports the
Life Saving Society’s National Drowning
Prevention Week. Activities and events are taking place at various
City aquatic
facilities to promote safety around water. Target groups are parents of children
under five years old and males aged 18 – 49. Funds are also being raised for the
Life Saving Society’s Water Smart campaign. Check out some of the week’s
activities below or check with your
neighbourhood pool to find out what events are planned.

East Lions pool – Survivor Man Competition:
test the swimming, judgment and water safety knowledge of
