Book of Congratulations – Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
The City of London is providing the public with the opportunity to offer
their congratulations to Her Majesty the Queen during her Diamond Jubilee year.
Mayor Fontana offered congratulations on behalf of the City. “What a wonderful
opportunity for Londoners to send personal best wishes to Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth as we mark her Diamond Jubilee year,” he said. “She has served Canada
and the Commonwealth with dignity and grace through six decades and her presence
and personality has been constant and unwavering – long may she reign.”
Londoners who wish to pay tribute to the Queen are invited to visit City Hall
any day between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to sign the Book of Congratulations. The
book will remain in the lobby until Tuesday, July 31 at 4:30 p.m. It will then
be forwarded to Buckingham Palace.
