London has one of the most diverse and extensive inventories of heritage structures in Ontario.

Community Heritage Investment Program
2010 grant applications now available

Grant applications for the a 2010 Community Heritage Investment Program are now available for download at the London Heritage Council website. Funded by the Corporation of the City of London, the goals of the Community Heritage Investment Program (CHIP) are to:

  • Provide project funding to not-for-profit heritage and cultural heritage organizations or individuals within the London heritage and culture sector.
  • Encourage public awareness and increase access to high quality experiences and activities in London’s heritage and culture sector.
  • Support initiatives and events that foster heritage and culture in London.
  • Increase partnership and collaborative projects and events in the heritage and culture sector.

September 2009 was the start of a year-long celebration marking a major milestone for London's oldest home, Eldon House. The home which has served as the hub of London's history is now 175 years old.
