have become rolling billboards, reminding citizens about the
importance of working smoke alarms and the dangers of unattended

Canadian Red Cross
recognized
the heroic efforts of London firefighter Allison Vickerd by
awarding her with their 'Rescuer Award'. This award acknowledges
the efforts of non-professional rescuers and off-duty first
responders, who go out of their way to save a life, prevent

March 8, 2013 - Daylight savings time begins on
Sunday, March 10th
and the London Fire Department is recommending Londoners to
replace the old batteries in their smoke alarms when they change
