After the Fire Program

April 23, 2013 - The London Fire Department will be in the area of Country Club Place conducting an After the Fire program , providing general fire safety information after a fire that occurred in that neighbourhood on April 22, 2013.

March 25, 2013 - The London Fire Department will be in the Grey Street area conducting an After the Fire program , providing general fire safety information after a fire that occurred in that neighbourhood on March 23, 2013.

A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

March 22, 2013 - The London Ontario Fire Department is getting its messages out with new and effective graphic messages on the department’s newest frontline fire vehicles. In effect the large vehicles have become rolling billboards, reminding citizens about the importance of working smoke alarms and the dangers of unattended cooking and careless smoking.

Firefighter recognized by Canadian Red Cross for life-saving efforts

March 18, 2013 - Today, Mon. March 18, 2013, the Canadian Red Cross recognized the heroic efforts of London firefighter Allison Vickerd by awarding her with their 'Rescuer Award'. This award acknowledges the efforts of non-professional rescuers and off-duty first responders, who go out of their way to save a life, prevent further injury and provide comfort to the injured.

Change your Clock, Change your Smoke Alarm Batteries

March 8, 2013 - Daylight savings time begins on Sunday, March 10th and the London Fire Department is recommending Londoners to replace the old batteries in their smoke alarms when they change their clocks this weekend.

February 13, 2013 - The London Fire Department recently responded to a fire in the Cornerbrook Avenue area.  Fire crews will be visiting residences in the area on February 13, 2013 between 6:30 till 8:00pm, to conduct an  After the Fire program  to provide fire safety information to residents.

January 30, 2013 - The London Fire Department recently responded to a fire in the Poppy Court area.  Fire crews will be visiting residences in the area on January 30, 2013 between 6:30 till 8:00pm, to conduct an  After the Fire program  to provide fire safety information to residents.

Buckle Up Baby Car Seat Clinics

January 30, 2013 - The London Fire Department is no longer participating in this program.  For information on when Car Seat Clinics are held please go the www.buckleupbaby.ca to book an appointment please call 519-666-3227.
