Fire Protection Prevention Act

The Fire Protection and Prevention Act is the Act from which the Ontario Fire Code is regulated.  The Fire Protection and Prevention Act is an Act to promote Fire Prevention and Public Safety in Ontario and to amend and repeal certain other Acts relating to the Fire Services.  This Act also gives Firefighters and Fire Inspectors their rights of entry and action to perform their jobs as well as outlining Municipal responsibilities for fire prevention and protection.
