Virtually unchanged since the last century, Eldon House is London's oldest residence and contains family heirlooms, furnishings and a showcase 19th-century style garden. Among the Eldon House events designed for the younger set are tours, March Break & PA Day programs as well as an interesting array of seasonal activities including a Easter party and more novel doings like a picnic for teddy bears.

Fanshawe Pioneer Village tells the story of rural communities in the former townships of Westminster, London, North Dorchester, Delaware, West Nissouri and Lobo in Middlesex County from 1820 to 1920 and the founding and development of the City of London up to 1840. Open to the general public from mid-May to early October, a varied program of village activities and events provides lots of fascinating - and fun - things for the whole family to do, including viewing  military battle reenactments.

Located on the site of the Lawson Prehistoric Village, London is home to Canada's only ongoing excavation and reconstruction of an prehistoric village. Replicated longhouses, a sweat lodge and the entrance maze bring to life the village of the Neutral Iroquoians from 500 years ago. The indoor gallery houses permanent and travelling exhibitions. Tours, speaker series, day camps, digs, festivals and pow wows feature on the Museum's calendar of events.

Teen Programs
The Boys' & Girls' Club of London offers a variety of programs for children and teens including Afternoon Adventure, Teen Zone, Red Cross Swim Lessons, Special Events and Day camps during the summer. We offer 10 different Camps for children ages 5 - 16. Afternoon Adventure is a drop-in program provided for children ages 7 to 14 which runs Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Please note children under 7 years of age are welcome to come to the Club to play on during Afternoon Adventure with supervision from their caregivers. The Teen Zone offers programs for youth ages 13 to 18 including recreational activities, out-trips, games club, computers, sports leagues and music. The hours for the Zone are Monday to Friday 4 pm to 8 pm. Members are free for Afternoon Adventure and the Teen Zone while non-members pay $3 per visit. Memberships cost between $25 and $200 based on annual family income. Please visit our website to download registration forms or call 519-434-9114 for additional information.

The Children's Museum offers free admission from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday evenings. There are lots of activities every week and food service available for purchase so bring the whole family for a fun evening out!  Call 519-434-5726 or visit the museum's website for additional information. Note: Beginning June 2 until mid-July, there will be construction on Wharncliffe Road from Riverside to Springbank. Wharncliffe Road will be open to through traffic, but delays can be expected. Parking lot will be accessible. Due to the volume of school group traffic in June there may be some gallery closures during the week. You may wish to phone in advance of your visit.

Be a Sunday Artist  takes place Sundays from 1:00 - 3:45 pm in Museum London's Clare Bice Creative Centre. We supply the materials and a monitor is ready to assist you ... so just bring your imagination and have fun with family and friends! Parents and guardians of children under 10 years of age are asked to supervise their budding artists. Please contact Museum London for additional information on this program and other children's programs.
