Notice of Public Participation Meeting – Meeting of the Community and Protective Services Committee – Extension of Hours for Sound from Outdoor Stage during 2019 Juno Week, on January 22, 2019 not to be heard before 4:10 PM, City Hall, Council Chambers, 300 Dufferin Avenue.  Pursuant to regulations contained in the Municipal Elections Act, R.S.O. 1996, as amended, the Community and Protective Services Committee will be holding a Public Participation Meeting to receive delegations and their comments regarding the consideration of a by-law to extend the hours (from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.) for sound arising from the outdoor stage in the municipally owned parking lot at Budweiser Gardens (99 Dundas Street) from March 14-17, 2019.  Information regarding the above-noted matter is posted on the City of London’s website at www.london.ca.  Written submissions regarding this matter to be included on the Community and Protective Services Committee Added Agenda for the meeting should be submitted by no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 either delivered or mailed to the City Clerk’s Office, Room 308, 300 Dufferin Ave P.O. Box 5035 London, Ontario N6A 4L9.  Submissions in accordance with the above-noted deadline may also be e-mailed to cpsc@london.ca  Any questions related to the draft amending by-law should be referred to Jon-Paul McGonigle at jmcgonig@london.ca

Personal information collected and recorded at the public participation meeting or submitted in writing on this subject is collected under the authority of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, as amended and Municipal Act, 2001, as amended and will be used by Members of Council and City of London staff in their review of this matter. Notice of the 2019 Annual Budget Update to the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget (Property Tax Supported, Water and Wastewater & Treatment), Budget Open House and Public Participation Meeting

The draft 2019 Annual Budget Update to the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget (Property Tax Supported Budget (Operating and Capital), Water Budget and Wastewater & Treatment Budget) was tabled at the Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee (SPPC) meeting held on Monday, December 17, 2018. The draft 2019 Annual Budget Update may be viewed at the City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue and can also be viewed on the City’s website at www.london.ca/budget. Members of the public are encouraged to become informed about the budget updates and multi-year budget process through the following public participation opportunities:

Public Participation Meeting – Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 4 PM – Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue – Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee (SPPC).  Any person wishing to provide comments to SPPC with respect to the draft 2019 Annual Budget Update to the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget may appear as a delegation before the SPPC meeting on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Alternatively, written comments can be sent to SPPC by e-mail at SPPC@london.ca, or to the City Clerk’s Office, 300 Dufferin Avenue, London Ontario N6A 4L9 by 9:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2019.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the City of London intends to adopt the 2019 Annual Update to the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Budget (Property Tax Supported Budget, Water Budget and Wastewater & Treatment Budget) at the Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, commencing at 4:00 PM in the Council Chambers. If you have any questions regarding this matter please e-mail budget@london.ca.
