The City's Subwatershed Studies were originally prepared as part of the Official Plan review undertaken in the mid-1990's. These studies were completed as a result of the annexation of new lands by the City and remain relevant for the development of land and the management of environmental features and hazards throughout the City. Several of these subwatershed studies have been updated, some not part of the original group have been added, and several are currently undergoing review. Larger Watershed Studies, such as the Thames River Clear Water Revival that has a focus on the entire river watershed and individual conservation authority Watershed Report Cards, have also been initiated that include London in the broader regional context.
Additional documentation such as background studies and technical appendices may be available digitally or in hard copy. These documents may be reviewed and updated periodically. Please contact the City's Urban Watershed Program Manager to confirm whether a review is underway for your area of interest.
