Notice of Cancellation – Public Meeting– Noise By-law - Temporary Noise Permits has been cancelled. This matter was previously advertised on Thursday, May 11, 2017 to be considered by the Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee at its meeting on May 29, 2017 - Item not to be heard before 4:45 p.m. This matter will be going forward to the Community and Protective Services Committee on Monday, June 5, 2017.

REVISED – Noise By-law - The Community and Protective Services Committee will hold a Public Participation Meeting on proposed amendments to the temporary noise permit regulations of the City’s Noise By-law.  The amendments address volume of amplified sound and the times during which sound can be made. The amendments will have regard to conditions for temporary noise permits for private commercial patios and amplified sound. Written submissions regarding the above-noted matter to be included on the agenda for the meeting should be submitted by no later than 9:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2017, either delivered or mailed to the City Clerk’s Office, Room 308, 300 Dufferin Avenue, P.O. Box 5035, London, ON N6A 4L9. Submissions in accordance with the above-noted deadline may be e-mailed to CPSC@london.ca . Personal information collected and recorded at the public participation meeting or submitted in writing on this subject is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and will be used by Members of Council and City of London staff in their review of this matter. Notice of Application

The following applications have been received by the City of London.  The Planning and Environment Committee will be considering these applications at a future public meeting, the date and time of which will be published in the Londoner.  If you have any questions or would like to provide comment, please see “Providing Comment” below.

Z-8779 - City -Wide – The purpose and effect of this zoning by-law amendment will be to remove from the Zoning By-law the regulation which currently requires a 250 metre (820 feet) minimum separation distance in all directions for Group Home Type 1. Through this application review staff may also consider changes to the definitions of Group Home Type 1, Supervised Residence and Group Home type 2 as well as any other necessary definition changes. These changes would implement action and requests from community agencies supporting peoples with developmental disabilities as well as implement direction in the Council adopted London Plan.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION MEETING

Community Information Meeting – Non-Statutory

This meeting is a non-statutory community information meeting which the City’s Planning Department at times convenes when, in the opinion of the Managing Director, Planning and City Planner, that the community should have a further opportunity to obtain information regarding a planning application. There will be a future statutory public participation meeting required under the Planning Act, held at the Planning and Environment Committee, which will provide the public with another opportunity to comment on the planning application. Notification of this Public Meeting will be published in the Londoner at a future date.

Community Open House for the Conservation Master Plan (CMP) Phase 2 for the Medway Valley Heritage Forest, Environmentally Significant Area (MVHF ESA) for the ESA lands south of Fanshawe Park Road West.
