Celebrating the diversity that makes our city great!

Our Committee assists in the annual development of a Multi-faith Observance Calendar for the Corporation of the City of London. The 2012 calendar (seen on our Resource page) is available as a pdf document (January to June and July to December). Dates are based on the Internet resource Interfaith Calendar.

We have also hosted a number of public open house events that have featured a presentation by a keynote speaker and/or a panel discussion as well as diversity-related displays by community organizations. Programs have included an an original stage production in which the audience and actors explored  inclusion and equality and eminent guests such as Barbara Hall, Chief Commissioner, Ontario Human Rights Commission; The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario; and, most recently, Dr. Kwame McKenzie of Toronto’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
