Tthe Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) maintains the Voters' List for all Ontario municipalities. When an election is called, MPAC provides each municipality with a preliminary Voters' List based on information obtained through its enumeration process. Households on the preliminary Voters' List receive a Voter Information Notice mailed by the City of London well in advance of the election date. From the time of the notice going out until the day of going to the polls our Election Office provides a number of convenient ways for Londoners to check that their name is on the list of eligible voters and ensure that the final Voters' List incorporates any necessary information changes or corrections.
Once you're on the list, all you need to do is show up to vote at Advance or Election Day polls with identification. As you'll see in the pdf document listing, many forms of identification will be accepted
If you have any questions about the information MPAC has on file for your household - or need to update information about your residence - the contact details are shown below. It is important to inform MPAC if:
- If you have recently purchased a property.
- If you or any member of your household has moved.
- If you or someone else in the household has become 18 years old.
