London’s Neighbourhood Profiles has been updated with the 2016 Census.  The 2016 data can be compared to previous census periods for Population and Dwelling Counts, Age Characteristics, Marital Status, Family Characteristics, Household and Dwelling Characteristics, Language, Indigenous Peoples, Immigration and Ethnocultural Diversity, Education, Labour, Mobility and Migration, Income, and Housing.

Users are warned  to use caution when comparing the 2011 National Household Survey  to the 2016 Census, particularly at the neighbourhood level due to changes in the way that Statistics Canada conducted the Survey.

A “neighbourhood” can be defined in many different ways. For statistical purposes, we use London’s Planning Districts as a “neighbourhood”.
